Just wanted to share my newest top made with less than a yard of black knit fabric.
Started with this…
I cut the backside of my tank using a top you already had as a pattern. I then cut the front side of the tank wider, using the side of the shirt to create the shoulder.
Pinned about 4.5″ on each side to create the shoulder part.
Left arm openings and cut the bodice to fit my own measurements.
Next, I sewed the shoulder parts and down the sides.
And now I have this super cute drapey tank with a fitted mid-section 🙂
Paired it with my new persimmon colored maxi skirt I made yesterday.
